TG11- Reasonable NegotiaSin

With all of Balance's “willikers” and “gollies”, I wanted to giver her a really lame insult to sling at Empress. Emp got the standard Sins-verse terribly childish insult (first seen in Stew's arc, I believe), but Balance needed something special. “Four flusher” means someone that's a cheat and a liar and it comes from poker/card playing, so it has a very olde timey/Wild West feel it. Fits just fine with Balance. Hopefully we have entertained AND educated today. Tell off your friends with antediluvian insults and if they don't slug you, revel in your superiority.

Quick Review: Alice in Wonderland (2010)- This movie clinched it. I'm just sick of Johnny Depp and Tim Burton at this point. Alice spends so much time trying to create style that it frequently ignores story or character and winds up just going through the motions. It's not a terrible movie, it's just a movie and nothing more. It's random for the sake of being random, which granted the original is too, but there's nothing endearing about it. The best part about it were the use of colors, the Chesire Cat, and the look of the card knights but that isn't really enough to carry a two hour film. The Tim Burton fantasy world reimagining is actually kind of boring for all its whimsy because it's basically the same fantastical world you see in all his movies. If you want an interesting interpretation of the story, there's a British movie called Malice in Wonderland (2009) that's far more entertaining and far more effed up (the ending kind of stinks though).
