Hello, this is my first post on this site. I figured I should be the first one to post a fanfiction here because I was the one who suggested this subforum to Pip. I hope everyone will be using it to post other fanfictions.

This fanfiction's a spin-off/crossover with my other fanfiction storyline that branches off into the Sins Universe. The main character in this story will Megan Roph who goes by the alias of Lady NegaMorph. She's a thirteen-year old girl who originally had just shadow-manipulation powers until she met an alien creature by the name of NegaMorph. She managed to steal a sample of his DNA and used it in a drug to copy his powers. But then she met NegaMorph again and he bit her, causing her to be infected with a mutating alien virus that gives her a new form. NegaMorph's unwilling to kill someone of his own blood (if it's a technicality) so he banishes her to the Sins dimension to keep her out of trouble, where she hears about the Sins' gauntlets. And that's where our story begins.

Well, she only needed two other drugs to complete the formula. They're both from the Marvel Universe; Mutant Growth Hormone and OZ. Both of them only need some DNA to work.

She's heard of the drugs through rumors and decide to use them combined to access the powers in NegaMorph's DNA. It's kinda complicated, don't ask about it.

Alright then, but this story's not going to be really fast.

Chapter 1: Temple of Boom

There's one particular temple no one ever bother to visit anymore. The primary reason is that this temple was an abandoned fire temple which was built right by a volcano. Ever since the fire sages there found a more comfortable place to practice their religion, they left the temple to the local fire elementals. However, there were rumors that there was a treasure hidden in the temple. But since the fire sages took everything with them, nobody knew what the treasure was. Some people try going in there to find this treasure, but most are turned back by the sight of the ash piles of previous (and less fortunate) treasure hunters. But not all of them had the same luck.

The lone figure approached the abandoned temple carefully. The figure wasn't too tall, maybe four and a half feet tall and, judging by the subtle shape of the torso, was female. She was wearing a dark cloak with a hood that prevented anyone from getting a good look at her. She went up the stairs and sidestepped the ash piles. She looked around for something that seemed out of place. Then she noticed one torch that was still lit, indicating continuing fire magic. She approached the torch but suddenly, the torch flared up and sent a gout of fire at her. When the flames cleared, it revealed the treasure huntress still intact, slightly hunched in her cloak to pervent her from being burned in the face, but still intact.

The treasure huntress walked over to the torch and twisted it in a counter-clockwise movement. The wall beside it opened, revealing a set of stairs descending down into the ground. She started down the stairs but paused after a few steps, sensing a trap nearby. She reached inside her cloak and pulled out a few leaves, which she threw in front of her. As the leaves floated down the stairs, black spots on the steps, walls, and ceiling shot out spikes of flame that burned the leaves as they passed. Resulting in a small cloud of ash floating the stairs. She mentally analyzed where the black spots were and made her movement forward. Fire spikes shot out, but she avoided them with nearly-inhuman nimbleness and agility. Her cloak got a few burns, but her body remained untouched.

The treasure huntrees stood at the bottom of the stairs. She noticed a nearby dial and twisted it. The black spots on the stairs hissed, indicating they had no more gas to ignite into fire spikes. Then she looked ahead and saw her prize. A golden gauntlet, designed to be worn on the right arm, resting on a pedestal of red obsidian. A small red stone was set not to far from the wrist. She looked around to see if there were anymore booby-traps. Surprisingly, the coast looked clear. Perhaps the fire sages doubted anyone would make it this far, if the fire mages had set this up. She walked over to the pedestal and slowly lifted the gauntlet off and turned around to leave.

Suddenly she heard something behind her and saw turned around. There were small red lizard-like creatures crawling through the cracks and the walls. Of course their molten eyes betrayed the fact that they were really fire salamanders. The treasure huntress cursed under her breath. She didn't count on fire elementals being here at the time she would try getting this thing. Salamanders aren't particularly vicious, but they don't like things invading their hiding places. The salamanders let out a loud hiss and started belching fireballs at the treasure huntress. She quckily ran for the stairs, taking two at a time.

She looked up ahead and saw a particularly large and fat salamander hanging on the ceiling ahead. The salamander spat out a large fireball and then shook its head. Was it's mind seeing things, or did the mysterious person actually split in half to avoid the fireball and then reformed. But then the salamander felt a hard smack and landed on its back on the stairs. The treasure huntress continued up the stairs and ran towards the entrance.

She didn't stop running until she was safely out of the fire temple. She let out a long breath and held out her prize in front of her. Then she lowered her hood to take a better look at it. Her head was that of a 13-year old girl with red hair and black highlights. "You had better be worth all that," she said to herself. Then she tucked the gauntlet under her cloak, raised her hood, and started walking away from the temple.

There's the first chapter. Not much, I know. But the next chapter's when she's going to put the gauntlet on. Then we'll be seeing some interesting things.

Okay, in respond to your numerous demands for more ( ), here's more to read.

Chapter 2: Temptation's Harder than You Think

The front door to the small house opened and closed very quickly. The young teenager sighed as she leaned against the wall. "Why'd I put on this cloak? Nobody was there and it kept getting snagged and singed," she muttered to herself. She took off the cloak and put it on a nearby cloakrack. Underneath, she was wearing a black sleeve-less shirt, a pair of green cargo pants, and black sneakers. She also wore a few gothic accessories. She looked at the gauntlet she worked so hard to get and said, "Well if this thing works like advertised, no one's gonna kick Megan Roph around anymore. She may not get any respect, but with the power of the Seven Deadly Sins, Lady NegaMorph will!" She slipped the gauntlet onto her right arm and there was a bright flash of light. During that, she felt something inside crack into pieces, but she's sure she can put it back together. When the light faded, the gauntlet had changed size and shape to fit her arm.

"Now, I summon the powers of the Seven Deadly Sins!" she called and raised her right arm up. She waited expectedly for the arrival of the seven demons, but nothing happened. "Come to me, Shades!" she called, but nothing happened. Megan was slightly disappointed, but not one to be denied. So she tried various things to the Gauntlet to summon the Sins: hit it with a hammer, smashed it against the wall, imersed it incenses, knawed on it with her teeth, and various hand formations. Not a single thing happened.

By now, Megan was starting to lose her temper, and her composure. Without realizing it, her hair separated into dredlock-like tentacles, her teeth grew into fangs, and her eyes glowed red. "WORK, YOU PIECE OF JUNK!" she shouted at the gauntlet. Her body started giving off a red aura and it covered the gauntlet as well. The gauntlet started shaking and sparking violently and suddenly let off an explosion of energy. The energy threw Megan back against the wall. The red aura around her disappeared and her head lost its inhuman features.

She groaned and opened her eyes a little bit. The sight quickly made her open her eyes all the way. Standing in the room were seven creatures of differnet colors. 'Standing' might not be the right word since most of them were supported by a ghostly tail. The one exception was a blue beastial demon with two long horns and several pink tongues sticking out of its mouth. It was standing on four clawed feet. But one thing they all had in common was the look of shock and surprise in their white pupilless eyes (except for the small indigo blob on the floor.)

"What just happened?" asked the tall skinny brown creature with long ears and spiky hair on his head.

"Wasn't I just about to devour a wild pig?" asked one that look like a cross between a woman and a poinsetta.

"How'd we get here?" asked another woman-spirit who was yellow and had a small crown of leaves on her head.

"I don't believe it!" said another woman-spirit who was purple and had a very full figure, "we've been pulled out of our host bodies! I thought we could have a vacation after last time. We should have at least had enough time to wait for the next host to come claim us."

"Who could have done this?" asked a very large green creature with long ears.

"Probably some pompous magician who thinks he can get away with anything," answered the purple spirit angrily, "The nerve of interupting our vacation! That stuck-up little sorceror's gonna pay for messing with us!"

"Stuck-up little sorceress if you don't mind," said Megan.

The purple spirit whirled around and shouted, "You! You have any idea what you pulled me away from? I was at the lovliest spa and you pulled me away before I could get my foot massage. Now I don't have feet to massage! And don't think because you're young and have magic make you think I'll go easy on you!"

"Whoa, anger much?" said Megan.

"That's not Anger, that's Lust," said the brown creature. He pointed at the blue beast and said, "That's Anger."

"Shut up Greed," snapped Lust, "and as for you, I'm more than capable of stripping you of your magic as I am of your sexiness."

"What a coincidense," said Megan, "so am I." She held up her guantleted arm and a pinkish aura surrounded first the guantlet and then Lust. Suddenly Lust became as skinny as a rail, her hair twisted into pigtails, and a large set of external braces appeared on her face along with freckles and glasses.

"My eyes! They burn!" yelled the green creature, "Oh the horror of it all!"

"Shut up Envy," said Lust with a lisp.

Megan looked at her her gauntlet with a look of surprise and said, "Whoa! I was just bluffing. I had no idea I could do that."

"Uh," said the poinsetta-woman, "if you're not going to give it back to her for a while, I could hold it for you."

"Actually," said the yellow spirit, "I think I should have that, Gluttony."

"You?" said Gluttony, "You wouldn't know what to do with them."

"I'm Pride, it's my job to be better than others! Besides, you'd lose the figure in a week!"

"And I'd still be prettier than you!"

Pride and Gluttony leapt (or whatever it is with a ghostly tail) at each other and started fighting.

"Now that's more like it," said Envy.

Megan looked at the indigo blob and said, "That means you're Sloth, right?"

The blob moved its head in her direction and said, "Meh."

"Oookay, I'll take that as a yes." Megan watched the two female spirits claw at each other for a while before shouting, "Break it up you two!" Gluttony stopped pulling Pride's hair and Pride stopped biting Gluttony's arm. "I only drained her so she'd calm down. I'm giving her beauty back. And after that, we need to talk."

There's another chapter. I hope this one will get a few more comments than the last one. The next one will get a bit more personnel and set out more of a plot. Stick around for it.

Well, I was just waiting for at least one person to comment before moving on. I guess I waited a bit long but here we go.

Chapter 3: An Adventurer's Life's For Me

After Megan restored Lust's beauty back, she sat down in a chair and said, "I suppose you're wondering why I call you all here today."

"Considering what you pulled me away from, yes," said Envy.

"What'd she pull you away fro-" Pride winced and said, "On second thought, I don't think I'd want to know."

"Well, I was kinda expecting you to automatically appear when I put this thing on and called you," continued Megan, "but when you didn't, I sorta lost my temper and I guess my powers overloaded the Gauntlet."

"Wait," said Lust, "what powers? You mean what you used to strip me? Don't even think of saying it," she hissed to Envy who then looked forlorn.

"Well, it's a bit of a long story. You see, I come from another world, another Earth if you will. I was born with the ability to control shadows, but when my parents found out, they kicked me out. So then I had to fend for myself until I fell in with this rough gang. Fortunately, I was able to use my powers to get on their good side. But then the gang upseted someone really powerful and he, uh, infected them with a kind of virus that turned them into creatures. I was able to escape and I had managed to get a sample of his powers.

"So then I used some connections to get these two drugs that will allow me to use this guy's powers. I used to have a chemistry set, so I was able to concuit this formula to let me duplicate his powers. But then he caught up with me and he was mad for me copying him. So he banished me to this world and I've been stuck here for a month now."

"Wow," said Gluttony, "rough story, so where do we come in?"

"I heard about the Gauntlets that could control you and I thought that they would be the perfect weapons for me."

"And what praytell do you plan to do with us?" asked Lust angrily, "Use our powers to get rich? Try to remodel us? Make us work on your farm?"

"I really hope it's not the last one," moaned Envy.

"Uh, I haven't really decided yet," said Megan, "I thought we'd try different things until we found one that worked. I was thinking we could start with treasure hunting."

"Greed likes your thinking," said Greed, "thought you had good head on shoulders."

"You think we could be bribed with little trinkets?" said Lust doubtfully.

Megan reached inside her pocket and pulled out a hand full of gold coins and jewels and said, "Well, if you can think of anything bigger."

Greed's eyes turned into dollar signs and said, "Greed will listen to whatever you say."

"See? Greed likes the idea," said Megan.

"Big deal," said Gluttony, "you could bribe him with pocket change."

"Greed resents that!"

Megan pulled out more gold and jewels from her other pocket and said, "How's this for pocket change?"

Lust twitched slightly, as if trying to resist grabbing it, "I think you can do better with that."

Megan went into another room and came back with a bulging sack. She opened it, revealing several pounds of treasure. "This enough?"

If Greed had a mouth, he would be drooling right now. Instead, Envy had to hold Greed back as Greed yelled, "Mine! Mine! Greed will obey mistress's every command. Greed's loyalty will never fail!"

"Little suck-up," said Lust, "I suppose this enough for a start, but there better be more coming."

"Uh, don't we have to visit our temples first?" asked Gluttony, "we can't do much without recharging."

"Ah," said Greed disappointedly, "that'll take weeks."

"Not necessarily," said Megan, "just give me a map of this land with your temples on it and I'll take care of everything." Greed inserted a hand into his chest and fished around until he pulled a rolled-up piece of paper and handed it to Megan. "Thanks," said Megan, "now everyone into the Gauntlet."

"But why?" whined Pride.

"Because it will be much faster if I don't have to bring everyone with me. It'll be easier to carry you inside this thing." The Sins grumbled but went inside the Gauntlet. Megan walked out the front door and onto the front porch. With a bit of concentration, she managed to sprout a pair of black wings from her back that were slightly shaped like a bat's. She surrounded herself with darkness and said to herself, "With any luck, I'll pass for a little black raincloud. Hope there won't be too much trouble." Then she flapped her wings and rose up into the sky.

There's another chapter. We get a bit more informative with Megan and now she's going to recharge the Sins. Then there's treasure-hunting ahead. Can't wait for that. Stay tuned for the next update.
