Okay, that part with Greed and the treasure, pure gold!(no pun intended)
can't even describe the look on greed's face.

Good job with the chapters. But you might want to edit greed in the second chapter. He has good grammar! I won't stand for this atrocity!

Oh, and the grammar's getting better. That's all I'm going to say.

Well, I tried to fix my previous postings, but I am unable to do that. And yet I'm the one who started and, unofficially, is in charge of this thread. How ironic. Anyways, here's the next chapter.

Chapter 4: A Hungry Bouquet

Eventually Gluttony felt her being called and she allowed herself to be materialized outside of the Gauntlet. Once she took on her humanoid spirit form, Gluttony said, "It's about time. I was wondering when we'll get here."

"Give me a break," said Megan as she looked around for the collar pillar, "it's really hard to get down here."

"Yeah, but I still think that spending a week in that thing's too much," said Gluttony, "and I'll be spending even longer in there while you're recharging all the others."

"Uh, actually, you're the last one," said a voice.

Gluttony turned around and saw that the other six Shades were in their recharged physical forms. "What? But how? There's no way she could-"

"We can't figure it out either," said Pride, otherwise known as Fortune, "Megan won't say how she's able to do it."

"I'll tell you when I'm good and ready," said Megan as she found the collar pillar. "Is this the right one?" She stuck her gauntleted hand through the slot. There was a brief flash of light from the pillar as well as a small wooshing sound behind her, as if something has fallen a short distance to the floor. She turned and saw a small sprout that resembled a Venus Flytrap with a white head. "Huh," said Megan, "I was expecting a seed or a human-faced rose."

"She's Gluttony, remember?" said Lust.

"Good point," said Megan, picking up the miniature snapping Gluttony, "where's the platform?"

"Over there," said Envy pointing.

Megan walked over and placed the collared Gluttony onto the platform. Light came out of the platform and Gluttony shot up in height. She briefly reassumed her spirit form before becoming humanoid. Her appearance had altered slightly. Her skin was a brighter shade of green, more like when she first took on a humanoid form. The 'petals' that made up her hair had a more dredlock look to them and hung lower. Her clothing consisted of the hula skirt-like leaves she normally wore and a pink halter top. Gluttony looked at herself and said, "Hmm, this is a different style than normal, so what now?"

"Now we go treasure hunting?" asked Greed.

"Sure," said Megan, "what's the closest place to loot for valuables?"

"5.9 miles northeast at elevation of 230 feet above sea level." The others looked at Greed with surprise and he said, "Greed knows when treasure is near."

"Okay," said Lust as they headed out of the temple, "but I can't help but feel that we've forgotten something."

About two minutes after they left, someone entered the temple. If it weren't for the name "Fast" on his chest, one would have mistaken him for the Angel of Famine. Obviously the name did not refer to his speed as he was huffing and puffing as he came in. He was one of the sickliest beings you could have imagined. He was so extremely skinny that you could see every bone in his body, even ear bones. (And that didn't even make sense.) His complexion was no better as it was grey from malnutrition. In fact, the only reason you'd think he was of supernatural nature was the bird-like wings on his back and they barely had any feathers on them.

"Evil-doers beware," he wheezed, "bend down on your knees and pray, for Fast is here to..." Then he noticed that no one was there. Fast swore and said, "Ah, come on! How is that brat moving so fast?" "I believe it has something to do with her origins," said a voice behind him. Fast jumped and turned around. He groaned and said, "Chastity, don't do that."

The purple-haired woman wearing a headband shrugged and said, "We've got more important things to worry about. That girl is different than from the hosts. She could pose a threat to us. Fortunately, she doesn't know her full potential. We better make sure she never does."

"She doesn't seem that great," said Fast.

"Look who's talking," said Chasity, "we're actually lucky that she's managed to beat us to these temples."

Fast looked confused and said, "Aren't we supposed to prevent them from reaching the temples?"

"I mean she has never met us yet," said Chastity, "So she has no personal reason to oppose us. We can't face her directly or she'll want to attack us. Fortunately there are other things to occupy her mind."

Meanwhile the Shades were waiting for Megan to make her decision. The time has come to see who would get the Sealing Stone. Megan decided, wisely at that, to check on the recent hosts the Shades had, as far back as Rhett.

She looked at the Gauntlet and said, "Alright then, I've decided that the Sealing Stone should go to one of you who's gone longer without being fully unlocked." Lust, Greed, and Pride let out a moan. Anger grumbled because he was a more recent addition and hasn't had as much time as the others. "That leaves just you three," said Megan pointing at Envy, Sloth, and Gluttony.

Megan looked at Envy who grinned back at her and said, "Not you, you creep me out." Envy groaned in disappointment. Megan looked at Sloth who looked blankly, yet slightly hopefully back at her. "What good would you be fully unlocked?" she asked. Sloth let out an indefinite 'Meh'. "Okay, that's not helpful," said Megan.

Then she turned to Gluttony and said, "Well, I guess it's your turn this time." Gluttony grinned widely, showing off an impressive amount of teeth. Megan flinched back a bit and said, "So, how do I do this?"

"Just give it to me, sweetie," said Gluttony. Megan shrugged and tossed the Sealing Stone to Gluttony. Gluttony's head changed to resemble her flytrap form and streatched forward. Her jaws snapped up the Stone and Megan could see it going down her elongated neck. Gluttony's head returned to her shoulders and resumed its feminine form.

Suddenly Gluttony quivered all over and pink light surrounded her. Her body faded into the light as it grew. It wasn't until the light took on a different shape that it faded. Gluttony was a much different creature now. She was now standing on four root-like legs with a similar tail behind them serving as a fifth leg. Her arms wer much longer and ended in thorn-like claws. Her main body was green in color and had several leaves on the back and two bulbs on the front. (A virtual cookie to anyone who can guess where on the front.) There were a pair of small flytraps on her shoulders. Her head took a rather dramatic change. It still resembled a flytrap with poinsetta petals at the base, but it had change to be the covering for the real head: a pitcher plant with several sharp teeth and a tendril-like tongues.

Megan stepped back in fear and said, "Uh, can't you turn into something less scary?" Gluttony nodded and dwindled down to a more humanoid form. She looked much like her humanoid spirit form but most noticably she had legs, quite shapely ones at that. And with a bit of effort, she was able to alter her complexion to a peach-like tone and make pupils in her eyes. So asides her hair, she could pass as a normal human being who was wearing a hula outfit.

"Wow," said Envy, "you look reeel fine."

"Hey!" said Lust, "if you oogling anyone, it's gonna be me." She paused and said, "What am I saying?"

"Wow," said Gluttony, "I feel great. I finally got hindquarters." But suddenly she felt an incredible ammount of movements in her bowels. "Ooh, all that digestion's catching up! Where's the bathroom?" The nearest facility were quickly pointed towards and Gluttony ran towards it.

"How much could she have eaten?" asked Megan.

"You don't wanna know," said Greed.

There's another chapter. Let it be noted that I am the first one to have Gluttony as the fully unlocked sin. In case you're having trouble visualizing her super-plant form, it's something like Wildvine from Ben 10. Anyways, I'll update whenever someone comments on this. I don't want to post twice in a row.

Yay, Boobie Gluttony! Nice chapter, although it needs a little more commentary, sorta like Pip does with his comics. Which reminds me, I need to ask him something...

Sorry for taking so very long with updating this story. I was kinda hoping I could work on my mainstream stories first, but the two people who are helping me with that are having trouble providing what I need. Which is a pity since I was hoping on updating those two mainstream stories at least once this month. Oh well.

(By the way, don't expect there to be much usage of Gluttony's bulbs in her plant form, that's a bit to risque for me.)

Chapter 5: Monster's Out of the Bag

Megan and the Sins quickly moved towards the place where Greed indicated. It turned out to be a fairly well-guarded fortress. There were tall stone walls several feet thick, guards at every entrance point, and even gargoyles enchanted to attack intruders. "Kinda reminds me of Fort Knox," said Megan. The Sins looked at her in confusion and she explained, "It's a massive gold depository in my world. And no Greed, we're not going there. Who owns this place anyway?"

"I'll see," said Lust. She sank to the ground similar to a shadow and crept past the guards. The guards didn't notice the moving shadow creep in and then out. She returned to the group and rematerialized. "This fortress belongs to this really wealthy and really mean ogre mage. He controls a lot of the surrounding countryside through intimidation. Kinda reminds me of a story I've read, but I can't think of it right now."

"Alright, here's the plan. Envy, Anger, you deal with the guards. Greed, you find this ogre's treasure vault. Sloth will go with you so he cancel out any booby traps. Ladies, we're dealing with this ogre."

"Not a bad plan," said Lust, "for a rookie."

"I've had experience," said Megan.

The plan worked surprisingly well. The two tougher Shades immediately started beating up the guards. More guards arrived as back and were subsiquently beaten up too. Apparently, the ogre was able to intimidate a lot of men and women into working for him because the guards kept coming. Fortunately, Greed and Sloth had zipped off by then. Envy then cut a clear enough path for the girls to head further inside. "Thanks Envy," said Lust.

"That's not all I can do for you," said Envy, grinning.

"Not likely."

The four girls ventured into the fortress, looking for the ogre mage. They easily defeated any guards along the way. "Now, if I were an ogre mage," said Megan thoughtfully, "where would I spend most of my time?"

"Probably in a large place to accomidate you," said Pride, "like the grand hall or something."

"Then we probably want to go this way," said Lust, pointing to a sign that was pointing right and said 'Grand Hall'.

They quickly went down the indicated hallway and came to a large door. A door large enough for an ogre to go through. Megan put her shoulder to the door and pushed it open. This was a bit surprising as the door looked rather heavy to move. The door opened into a spaceous room that had a really large dinner table with a lot of food on it. This immediately got Gluttony's attention, but the others' attention was on the being who was previously eating this food.

It was a large orange ogre that was dressed in a fancy suit. The buttons of his vest and undershirt were quite strained over the large belly of the ogre. A bowler hat was perched on his head between the two horns and was comically small compared to it's large head. The ogre glared at the intruders with his small piggy eyes, obviously annoyed that he had been interupted. "Who are these miserable persons?" he demanded loudly.

"We're here to take your treasure and fortress," said Megan, "and free those people you've enslaved while we're at it."

"Oh really?" said the ogre, "let's see how you can do that as a smouldering ash pile."

He pointed his finger and a fireball shot out and headed towards Megan. It stopped right before it hit her, made a 45-angle turn, and hit Pride instead. Pride screamed and ran around yelling, "Why does this keep happening to me?!" The ogre frowned and tried to fry Megan a few more times, but the fireballs keep hitting Pride.

"She never was very good around fire," said Lust.

The ogre, deciding fireballs would be useless, turned his attention to the others. "You will make a very good addition to my gallery," he said and fired a blast at Lust. Lust easily deflected it with a nearby silver dish. The spell bounced off and turned a bowl of figs into marble. The ogre kept firing spells which Lust deflected and caused different things to be turned to marble. Then the ogre grinned and said, "You've spilled something on your dress." Lust's feminine attention immediately went to her dress to locate the stain. The ogre took the oppertunity to hit her with a petrification spell which froze where she stood. "Could have been in a better position," said the ogre, "but good enough."

Finally, he turned his attention to Megan and Gluttony. "You, you irksome little girl, I prefer dead." He picked up a nearby cleaver and threw it at Megan. Gluttony would have prevented this, but one of the stray petrification spells had hit the turkey she was eating and she was currently trying to remove it from her mouth. Megan moved just a second too late and the cleaver chopped off her left arm. She screamed, but instead of her severed arm falling to the floor and gushing out blood, it dissolved into dark grey slime. The stump of her arm didn't bleed either, but the inside was completely dark grey slime.

Then Megan glared with glowing red eyes and said with a fanged mouth, "You just made a big mistake." The slime on the floor sprang back to her stump and reattached itself. But instead of forming into her old arm, it took the form of a dark grey arm that had four clawed fingers at the end. The left side of her torso quivered as it became black slime and two more arms grew out from underneath the first one. The arm right below the first one had a mouth in the middle.

The dark grey slime spread over the rest of Megan's torso, altering it as it went. Her flesh became the same dark grey slime while her shirt was changed to a black vest that showed off her stomach that now had an N-shaped mouth on it. A black cape trailed from the lower backside and to her ankles. Her pants were changed into a black mini-skirt. A tail grew from her back that had three spines in the middle and ended in a knife-like shape with three spikes, a red eye with a black pupil, and a shap-toothed mouth.

The slime then went to her right arm and slid under the gauntlet. The flesh changed under and the gauntlet changed to accompany them. The three spikes on her elbow were quickly covered with gold. The hand on the end reformed resemble the ones on her left arms except it had a fang-filled mouth covering it. The gauntlet changed to cover the mouth parts, but left the actual hand alone.

Then the slime went to her legs. Her shoes became knee-length, high-heeled boots before changing. Her right leg split at the calf to form two feet. Her left leg somewhat looked like a mechanical peg leg that was wrapped in a tentacle. She had a metallic spur near where her knee bended and the boot was open at the top of the foot, showing her three-toed foot.

Then as a pair of wings spread from her back, the slime started up towards her head. They were like bat wings except where the bones supporting the membrane would be, there were different mechanical attachments. The left one was make of a spike and a robotic tentacle and the right was made of two spikes and a robotic crab's claw. Her neck kept the chocker as the slime went upwards. Her nose disappeared and the middle of her face had five redn pupil-less eyes. Her left ear extended into a large bump of flesh with the inner part of the ear on the back side. The front side had a large red eye with a black slit for a pupil. Her right ear branched into two pointed ears. Her hair became red dredlock-like tentacles that ended with hook-like claws. Then a small black beret appeared on her head and completed the transformation.

Both the ogre and Gluttony were stunned by this unexpected transformation. "New game now," said Megan in a slightly warped voice. She leapt from where she was straight at the ogre. She cleared the distance of the room and kicked him in the head with her two-footed leg. The ogre was knocked out of his chair and into the wall, evidentally being kicked really hard. Megan easily landed on her own two (three?) feet and said, "Ready to quit?" The ogre got back up and growled savagely, showing that he was far from down.

The fight that followed afterwards was spectacular to behold the ogre kept throwing spells and bludgeons at Megan, but she easily dodged them. Even with the most direct attacks, her body partially melted to avoid them before reforming. But Megan didn't just dodge. She hit the ogre back with powerful punches and kicks. She also manipulated the shadows around him to attack him as well as fire beams of red energy from her eyes and mouths. The ogre eventually realized that he was outmatched. He distracted her by throwing his chair at her and shapeshifted into a rat. The rat scurried towards the door. But before it could get to it, Gluttony reached out a tongue and caught it. The tongue brought the rat back to her mouth where she ate it in one gulp.

With the ogre's death, his magic died with him. The opressive spells he put on the surrounding countryside vanished. The fire that was burning Pride went out, but left several burns and very singed hair. Lust's marble body softened and she was able to move again. At that moment, Greed, Sloth, Envy, and Anger entered the room. Greed and Sloth were wearing several golden decorations and jewelry. "I know they were happy to be free," said Envy as he walked in, "but did they have to take off their armor and start singing how it was a 'brand new day'?"

Then all the Sins' attention turned to Megan who was still in her mutant form. "Uh, what did Greed miss?" asked Greed, scratching his crowned head.

Megan rubbed the back of her neck and said, "I guess I have some more explaining to do."

There's another chapter. Now we know what Megan really looks like. I mean she really looked like that when she was human, but that's her true form. Can anyone guess what the two references were in this chapter and what they were about? Sorry if I was a bit rough of Pride and Lust, but honestly, isn't that the type of thing you would expect with those two? I'll be putting up Megan's picture on another thread after I'm finished with this story, which won't be too long as the next chapter's the last one. I won't update again until at least one person coments on this.

As a matter of fact, I don't write the chapters beforehand. I create them as I put them on the forum. A bit haphazard, I know, but it does allow me to update at different computers. But anyways, here's the final chapter.

Chapter 6: The Real Tail

The Shades crowed around Megan as she explained her form. "The truth is that the guy whose powers I copied was the corrupted clone of a genetic experiment from another galaxy." When the others gave her blank looks, Megan said, "Okay, which part didn't you understand?"

"Genetic experiment," said Lust.

"Another galaxy," said Pride.

"From," said Greed.

"Okay, he was the corrupted clone of an alien," said Megan, "Don't you guys have life on other planets in this universe?"

Lust and Sloth exchanged looks and Lust said, "Well, magic's the dominant force here, not science. There might be, but we've never heard of them."

"So anyways, this alien, whose name was NegaMorph, was made up of this black goo and he left some after he attacked my old gang. I grabbed a sample and used it with these two drugs to copy his powers. I used them for burglaries mostly. He got mad about ripping off his powers for petty purposes so he came after me. He infected me with the virus, which reacted with the drug in my system and mutated me into this." She indicated her mutant form. "I guess I kinda deserved it. But I think banishing was a bit much. Apparently, he can't harm what is essentially his own flesh and blood."

"Interesting," said Gluttony, "what all can you do?"

"Besides my natural shadow powers and the powers you guys give me, I can morph, stretch, regenerate, fly, lift heavy things, move realy fast, and fire blasts from my eyes and mouths as well as my fangs. I'm a bit new with these powers and I don't think they're as powerful as NegaMorph's were."

"So that's how you were able to get the Gauntlet and get us to all our temples so fast," said Lust.

"You hid the Gauntlet?"

"We really wanted a break," said Pride.

"Why didn't you tell us?" asked Envy.

"Well, I thought that if you knew I wasn't completely human, you would reject me," said Megan.

"That's nothing," said Greed, "you hardly weirder than religious girl, remember Lust?"

"Somewhat," said Lust, snapping a chicken bone she was holding in half. The chicken bone was from when Gluttony devoured almost all the food. They had just stopped her so that they could get something to eat themselves.

"So what are we going to do now?" asked Gluttony as she polished off another bowl of pudding.

"Anything we want I guess," said Megan, "we got the fortress to ourselves and nobody's gonna ask us about the treasure. I guess we could live her in luxury for a while, unless you eat us out of house and home."

Suddenly Gluttony let off a tremendous, extremely-unladylike belch. Lust wrinkled her nose and said, "Speaking of which, when was the last time you ate a breath mint?"

Meanwhile, in a different sort of castle, a dark figure was watching the group through a magic mirror. "So," it said, "the girl's has some new powers. I wouldn't mind if she didn't have that regeneration ability. My blades would be useless against her. No matter, I can bide for a while. I have several agents in the mortal realm and she doesn't even have the slightest idea who I am."

And that's the last chapter. Can't say much for the first part of it except how terrible Gluttony's breath must be. But I think the last bit was the best part of this chapter. Who is this mysterious figure? You wanna know? Too bad, you'll have to read more of my stories. I'll post pictures of Megan on another thread then I'll have to think a while before deciding what to do with the next story.
